Former President Donald Trump has slammed fellow reality TV star Kim Kardashian for ex-husband Kanye West, the rapper claimed in a new video.
Insults allegedly directed at Trump, 76, were redacted from the video describing a meeting at which West is supposed to ask Trump to run for vice president in 2024.
Trump, who has already announced his third presidential bid, apparently scoffed at the idea and teased Alice Johnson, a woman in her 60s whose sentence he commuted in 2016 after some pressure from Kardashian.
“He basically gave me a mob-type story, talking to a kid from the South Side of Chicago trying to sound mob or something,” West said in the video.
“He got into the story about everything he went through to get Alex Johnson out of jail, but he didn’t do it for Kim but he did it for me,” West says in the video.
But then he keeps saying that Kim is a [expletive] And you can tell her I said that. And I was thinking that this is the mother of my children.
The alleged actual insult is obscured, as is West’s mouth during that part of his yelling. Both Trump and Kardashian have appeared on reality TV shows: Trump on “The Apprentice” prior to his first term as president, while Kardashian spent 20 seasons on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
The video, titled “Mar-a-Lago Debrief,” describes a meeting this week between West and Trump at the former president’s resort in Florida where he has lived since he left office after his defeat by Democrat Joe Biden, 80.
The heavily edited video, released Thursday, claims to have been filmed at “Yeezy HQ” in Los Angeles and discussed West’s intentions to run for president himself.
The 45-year-old West, who returned to Twitter after anti-Semitic posts were banned, claimed he came to the meeting in jeans and kept Trump waiting.
West has long been a supporter of Trump, visiting the White House wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat in 2018.
West claimed he “entered with intelligence” and talked to Trump about listening more to loyalists. The rapper also questioned Trump about the people imprisoned over the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that disrupted Congress’ certification of Biden’s 2020 election victory over Trump.
“My question would be why when you had the opportunity did you release January 6th?” West claimed he told Trump.
Later in the video, he says, “Since we know, and all Christians in America who love Trump know, that Trump is a conservative, we are going to demand that you stick all politics straight to the Bible.”
The rapper claimed Trump was left “basically yelling” at West, telling him he was going to lose.
“Trump you talk to Ye,” the rapper said in the video.
