Houston Thanksgiving shooting: 2 dead, 2 hurt in Spring Branch

A man and a woman were killed and another man and a teen were wounded in a shooting in northwest Houston on Thanksgiving.

Houston – Houston Police They are looking for a gunman who broke into Spring Branch’s home and Killed four people, killing two.

It happened on Baggett Lane, which is just south of the intersection of Long Point and Wirt Roads.

A man and a woman were killed and another man and a young man were seriously wounded in the shooting. Police said the shooting occurred after family and friends at home finished eating Thanksgiving dinner.

“The suspect identified as the deceased female’s ex-husband came through the back door and just started shooting at the people inside the house,” HPD Asst reports. President Patricia Cantu said.

Cantu said that people inside the house then ran into rooms for safety as the gunman reloaded to continue shooting.

Police said they don’t know who the suspect is yet, but said those details will be released later today.

“We know it’s the ex-husband of the deceased,” Cantu said. “We don’t know where he is. We are going to ask the public to help us catch this man.”
