The FIFA World Cup 2022 continued on Friday with Senegal’s 3-1 victory over Qatar at Qatar’s Al-Thumama Stadium. The strong second half propelled Senegal forward, as they scored two goals in the second half, eventually winning by the same number and capturing a well-deserved three points.
Earlier, Iran took advantage of a late red card in Wales and scored two goals in stoppage time to earn three points in Group B.
