If sharing your favorite looks on social media (or following like your favorites do) has become a staple of your daily routine, you’ll want to try Spotify’s latest interactive in-app experience: GetReadyWithMusic.

Creating the perfect atmosphere is a must while preparing, and this new experience will help users create a curated, outfit-complimentary playlist to stream before you go. Who said your songs couldn’t fit your style?

So whether you’re taking it easy, preparing for a workout, or dining out with friends, GetReadyWithMusic has you covered. Simply answer questions about your look, including the occasion, the colors and the mood. Then you can upload a photo of your final outfit and receive a playlist tailored to that mood.

Spotify also partners with digital creators and stars of The D’Amelio Show, Dixie and Charlie D’Amelioto launch GetReadyWithMusic and inspire fans to celebrate their own preparation playlists.

Want to get started with your own GetReadyWithMusic playlist? Just follow the steps below.

How to get GetReadyWithMusic

  1. Please make sure that your Spotify mobile app is up to date with the latest version available on the App or Play stores, and that you are in a market where GetReadyWithMusic is available.*
  2. Visit https://spotify.com/getreadywithmusic on your mobile device (iOS or Android).
  3. Then it’s time to get ready! Answer the questions about your outfit’s vibes – here you share what you’re preparing for and describe the fit.
  4. If you like, you can upload a photo of yourself in the outfit to serve as the album cover.
  5. Then, voila! You’ll receive a playlist that complements your outfit to stream as you get ready.
  6. If you’ve been through the experience a few times, don’t forget to check out your Music Closet, where you’ll find all the outfit playlists you’ve created so far.

You will also receive a social sharing card that you can show to the world by using the hashtag #GetReadyWithMusic. Make sure to try out the experience with your new outfit every day to create a full closet of custom playlists to suit your style.

But the passion for fashion doesn’t stop there: The GetReadyWithMusic experience comes alive in more ways than one with an in-person event in NYC.

Mark your calendars for an IRL pop-up shopping experience at Other People’s Clothing thrift store in Brooklyn, NY’s Bushwick neighborhood from Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 2, where textiles will be made to feel.
