Hungarian minister holds energy talks with Russia’s Lavrov

BUDAPEST, Sept. 23 (Reuters) – Hungary’s foreign minister said on Friday that he met Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov in New York and discussed gas shipments and construction work at a Hungarian nuclear power plant by Russia’s state-owned company Rosatom.

Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto will meet with the chief executive of Rosatom on Monday to discuss the next milestones in the Paks nuclear power plant project, said in a Facebook video after the meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
