Collect the rest of the required documents

Apply at a Chinese Visa Application Service Center, Chinese Embassy or Chinese Consulate
Applicants are required, based on their country, to apply for a student visa at a Chinese Visa Application Service Center, Chinese Embassy or Chinese Consulate. At this stage, applicants may be required to also submit some necessary documents and scrutinize them to some extent with an interview.
Pay the application fee

Apply for a temporary residence permit
After applicants enter China, they are allowed to go to the Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration Office and apply for a residence permit.
