How long does it take to receive SASSA R350 Grant payment after re-applying?
After re-applying, it will take one month for you to receive your Sassa R350 scholarship payment.
Your Sassa scholarship will be paid in the month you are approved after reapplying for the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) R350 scholarship.
According to the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) through the Department of Social Development (DSD), applicants who reapply for the R350 scholarship and are approved will be paid for their scholarship money in the month they are approved.
This arrangement is a result of the new amendment to the Covid-19 SRD R350 Grant after the President, His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, read the 2022 State of the Nation Address.
The president made public that the Covid-19 SRD R350 grant will be extended until March 2023 and added that the change requires all beneficiaries to reapply for the grant.

Will SASSA change the payment date for R350 Grant after I reapply?
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) publishes the date for the R350 award every month.

Usually your R350 payment date is given as per the last 3 digits of your ID.

How much does SASSA pay after I reapply for R350 scholarship?
Sassa pays R350 after re-enrolling. You will still receive a sum of R350 when you reapply.
To receive SASSA R350 Grant after reapplying, SASSA has not officially announced any increase or decrease of the SRD grant.
