The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Program provides all beneficiaries with money to cover their tuition fees. The breakdown is as seen below;
- The Foundation supports students with tuition fees
- Cost of living
- Funding for PhD programs is only provided for the first two years of study
- Half of the scholarship amount is considered a loan, which must be repaid with an annual service charge of 5%.
- The payback period of the loan is five years and starts in six months after the study period funded by the Aga Khan Foundation.
